You sure did nail the flash 5 look, Spitty.

spitfire responds:

It helps that I'm old and never learned better.

Finally, some real art around this fucking place.

It's damn good, but there's some really weird pacing issues all over it where shots are holding for, like, half a second too long. it feels almost like a shot will start, then in the middle after the action there will be a strange delay that almost feels like the keyframes got click-dragged to the right on the timeline. You obviously improved later on, but it keeps making me stumble a bit, mentally, while watching it and it's really distracting. Am I crazy or is this a case where I know just enough about flash to notice shit that doesn't matter that literally nobody else catches?

Derpixon responds:

Hmmm, I'm not exactly sure what you mean, if you could explain it in detail or like an example of the scene you're talking about that would be great :D

Fuck, guys, why haven't you put this up on Steam Early Access, yet? I already gave you $400 on the kickstarter (the wallpaper is very nice, BTW, totally worth it) but it's obvious that you guys are putting serious time and money into the physics engine, so I understand why you haven't had time to add my character for my donation tier reward, yet. But maybe the problem is that $300K just isn't a realistic budget for a game of this magnitude? That's a good start but you guys are going to really have to step it up if you want to be able to expand the budget for all the procedurally generated lifeforms and multiplayer integration. I think you guys need to bite the bullet and get this shit up on Steam and charge money for this shit. Even in Alpha this is just above and beyond anything that anyone else is doing right now.

BTW if I had any complaints it would be that there's not enough loot boxes, advertisements, and it really seems like you guys are dropping the ball by not logging and reselling the biometric data you OBVIOUSLY have available to you in the VR version. It's the 21st century, you guys, get with the fucking program! What people want is advertisements in paid video games individually curated for them by analyzing their browser history, eye-tracking data, and and how far away their knees are from their wrists AT ALL TIMES.

Listen, overall the game is already there, but as a loyal fan of your work I just feel like you are really letting me and everyone else who loves your games down by not giving us the things that we want and the things that all of your competitors in the video game industry are already providing as standard features.

Oh, also, please add more Depth of Field and Chromatic Aberration filters. It feels really nice to have a bunch of shit to turn off whenever I start up a new game, thanks.

Better than Undertale!

This is pretty incredible, however the "Click and drag" mouse movement is downright unplayable. If I were using a PC that I couldn't install stuff to, then I might be willing to either get used to it or try to re-learn using keyboard controls (Which I had to fully un-learn back when Quake came out). 4/5 for code skill and because other than the controls, the games run surprisingly smooth.

Holy Damn this profile was out of date. Who the hell is this guy? Where did all my LL spam smeared with copyrighted music go?
